    CommUnityCare is looking for individuals to join our Patient Representative Services team at our Call Center. The Patient Services Representative is responsible for serving as the initial point of contact for new and established CommUnityCare patients. Experience in a medical office, healthcare field, or customer service call center is preferred, but we will provide training to reliable passionate individuals. This job requires excellent listening and customer service skills, and the ability to handle complex phone calls while being empathetic, personable, and professional.

    Patient Services Representative Tasks

    • Patient services representatives are seated at a desk for most of the day, working at a computer.
    • Answer telephones and interview patients to identify the proper match with a CommUnityCare Health Center and provider.
    • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups, and physician referrals.
    • Maximize CommUnityCare resources through efficient scheduling practices.
    • Resolve patient inquiries and patient complaints or referral to the appropriate manager.
    • Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.

    Qualifications

    Shift/Schedule -Full Time, Hourly – MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS Monday-Saturday.

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a medical setting, healthcare field, or customer service call center.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
    • Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.

     

    *Candidate will be required to pass pre-employment screenings after receiving a job offer including background check, drug screen, and basic computer literacy test.
