The Managed Care Pharmacist will be responsible for oversight of the CommUnityCare’s pharmacy benefit programs including development and maintenance of multiple formularies. In addition, the Managed Care Pharmacist will support organizational initiatives by providing expertise in matters related to the provision of pharmacy services. The Managed Care Pharmacist is expected to perform autonomously and in a leadership position.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
PREFERRED EDUCATION: At least 1 year of Residency Training
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 year of clinical pharmacy experience and/or managed care pharmacy experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years of clinical pharmacy and/or managed care pharmacy experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Texas
REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS: Basic Life Support (BLS)
