Oversees administration, implementation, and monitoring of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) and sexual health prevention grants for CUC. Responsibilities include managing overall grant efforts, developing and optimizing grant management processes to improve efficiency, accountability, and program outcomes. Leads the preparation and submission of progress reports, performance metrics, continuation applications, and other required funder deliverables. Collaborates with program, finance, data, and leadership teams to monitor grant performance, assess risks, and coordinates funder audits. Serves as a key resource on grant regulations and compliance requirements while fostering strong relationships with funding agencies and community partners to advance the organization's public health mission. Supervises a team of Specialists that support data and performance reporting.

Essential Functions

• Manages the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program funding and supervises a team of specialists supporting sexual health prevention funding.
  Serves as the primary liaison with funding partners and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships that support grant compliance, collaboration, funding sustainability, and organizational objectives.
• Represents the organization in funder calls, audits, site visits, workgroups, and other strategic partnership engagements.
• Manages and coordinates reporting of performance data to funding sources and external partners; works with grant specialists, program managers, business intelligence, compliance, and finance department to ensure the timely and accurate submission of required performance and financial reports.
• Collaborates closely with Finance to support grant budgeting, financial reporting, expenditure monitoring, and compliance activities, ensuring accurate grant accounting, alignment with approved budgets, and adherence to funder requirements.
• Coordinates STI- and HIV-related audits, including audit preparation, supporting virtual or in-person site visits, and partnering with Compliance team to formulate corrective action plans as needed.
• Performs routine and strategic internal monitoring of programs and performance outcomes including reviewing procedure manuals, training certificates, and documents associated with the program and/or department to ensure compliance with the various contracts that provide funding or otherwise govern the program/department.
• Reviews program policy and procedure manuals to ensure compliance with governing regulations and funder requirements, communicates to program staff and the compliance team any recommended updates or revisions
  and confirms that changes are made within a timely manner; assists with incorporating changes into program manuals as needed.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key staff, the general public, community leaders, community groups, and other governmental organizations.
• Works with others on Grants team to utilize appropriate software/database to maintain records on potential and current funders regarding meetings, communications, proposals, grants and reports; to utilize appropriate
  scheduling programs (such as Microsoft Outlook) if not the database, for scheduling and tracking of all LOI’s, proposals, reports, etc.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein as may be assigned or delegated.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local grant laws, rules, regulations, grant processes and procedures, as well as cost principles and uniform administrative grant requirements. 
• Good analytical and presentation skills 
• Proficient in identifying opportunities and deliver results accordingly 
• High level of skill at building relationships within the organization and outside the organization. 
• High level of problem solving and decision making skill with an eye toward increasing efficiency. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Proficiency in the use of a computer and commonly used software packages, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted) in Public Health, Public Administration, Public Policy, Business, Nonprofit Management or a related field

Minimum Experience:

• 3 years of experience providing grants management to nonprofit or governmental organizations.
